Road Trip

While the world rushes to Scotland for the NC500, Wales quietly offers something just as dramatic, far less crowded and considerably closer to home. The Welsh Coast 400 loops the entire Welsh coastline — Britain's first AONB on the Gower, the only fully coastal National Park at Pembrokeshire, dolphin-filled Cardigan Bay, the wild Llyn Peninsula, royal Anglesey and medieval Conwy. Eight days, seven nights, departing Egham Friday afternoon, back by 3pm Friday.

Friday to Friday timing: Depart Egham 2pm Friday. Thursday evening reposition from Llyn Peninsula to Conwy (55 miles). Friday morning walk at Great Orme or Conwy Castle. Depart Conwy 8:30am. Arrive Egham by 2:30–3pm.

The Route

Eight Days Around Coastal Wales

We follow the coast clockwise — Gower and Pembrokeshire first, then north through Cardigan Bay, around the Llyn Peninsula and across to Anglesey, finishing along the North Wales coast at Conwy. Thursday evening repositions to Conwy for an easy Friday morning return.
